Terms and Conditions
Conditions of Hire
 
Payment: 25% deposit on order, balance on or prior to delivery.
 

Cancellation charges will be incurred as follows if a confirmed order is cancelled or substantially reduced:

  • Within 14 Days of the event 25% of hire charge
  • Within 7 Days of the event 50% of the hire charge
  • Within 2 Days of the event 100% of hire charge
 
The customer is responsible for all hire equipment from the time of delivery untill collection and shall not sell, pledge, keep or other wise deal with or part possession with the hired equipment.
 
Customers are responsible for breakages and losses and will be charged at replacement cost.
 
All hire equipment will remain the property of Herts Hire throughout the hire period and only used for the intended purpose.
 
All equipment to be returned clean inless a 'return dirty service' has been arranged and paid for (50%) in advance.
 
No responsibilty can be accepted for injury or damage caused by misuse of hired equipment or electrical faults due to overloading an electrical circuit.
 
All charges are based on a single hire.
 
All cartons, boxes and packaging material must be returned, failure to do so will incur an extra charge.
 
Drivers / Porters are not allowed to move clients furniture, fixtures, or goods not owned by Herts Hire.
 
All prices subject to VAT
